Muscat: In alignment with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's vision to cultivate national leaders equipped with future leadership capabilities and skills, as outlined in Oman Vision 2040, the Royal Academy of Management has launched 'Future Leaders' programme.
This initiative underscores the Academy's dedication to empower leaders across diverse levels by equipping them with innovative solutions and foster positive change, consequently enhancing sustainable development within public and private sector institutions.
The programme targets 50 participants who have at least 3 years of practical experience and are not over 34 years old, including employees of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and freelancers.
The programme will take them on a knowledge journey consisting of three in-person modules and three talent labs over the course of 6 months, starting from this June until next December.
The 'Future Leaders' programme is among the Academy's strategic plan for 2024.
The programme aims to empower leaders in both public and private sectors by creating a learning environment that enhances their talents and leadership skills.
The programme seeks to prepare second-tier leaders for higher levels of leadership in the future.The various learning units will focus on applying the best international practical practices to achieve this goal.
The learning journey includes various modules starting with the 'Discover' module, which focuses on enhancing leadership, followed by the 'Foresee' module to explore successful and advanced international experiences.
Finally, there is the 'Pioneer' module, which helps enhance a business-success-oriented mindset and accomplishment. These modules focus on developing and enhancing future skills and applying international best practices among the participants.
The programme aims to equip young talents with the skills and knowledge to become effective leaders.
It focuses on understanding basic leadership principles, enhancing self-awareness, strengthening cooperative relationships, developing strategies to overcome challenges, enhancing problem-solving skills and creativity, fostering a culture of innovation within teams and institutions, and adopting innovative methods to address issues.
Through these efforts, the programme strives to prepare participants for the future and foster a positive impact on communities.
Registration for the programme will be available to young Omani talents of both genders who meet the requirements through the official accounts of the Royal Academy of Management on various social media platforms.
