Shura Council discusses draft law on organ transfer, transplantation

Muscat: The Shura Council has discussed  a draft law regulating the transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues.    

In its ninth regular session of the first annual session of the tenth term today, the Shura Council  discussed a number of draft laws, most notably the draft electronic transactions law and the draft law regulating the transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues, headed by His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Speaker of the Council. 

The session also discussed the draft agreement to be signed between the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Cyprus to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion with respect to income taxes, and a draft agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding joint administrative assistance in the field of customs.  

The session was attended by the members and the Secretary General of the Shura Council.
