His Majesty the Sultan issues special royal pardon

Muscat: On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1445 AH, His Majesty the Sultan issued a special royal pardon for several prison inmates.

Royal Oman Police said in an announcement: “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, issued his special royal pardon to a group of prison inmates convicted of various violations."

The number of those granted the royal pardon, a testament to the inclusivity of this act, reached 169, encompassing both citizens and foreigners. This act of clemency, bestowed by His Majesty the Supreme Commander, coincides with the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1445 AH and is a heartfelt consideration for the families of the inmates.
