HM The Sultan receives phone call from French President

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today received a phone call from President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic.

During the call, President Macron expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman to reach understanding between his country and the Islamic Republic of Iran for the release of a French citizen and repatriate him to his country.

He also expressed his appreciation for Oman’s regional efforts.

The two leaders reviewed relations between Oman and France. They also touched on regional issues of common interest.
