Terminated employees of Bahwan Contracting Company to return to office :Ministry

Muscat: All citizens whose services were terminated by Bahwan Contracting Company will be able return to work soon, said the Ministry of Labour (Mol).

In light of what has been circulated on social media, regarding the termination of the services of a number of citizens working for Bahwan Contracting Company, the Ministry would like to report that it held several meetings during the past two days, represented by the Acting Undersecretary for Labour and in the presence of a representative of the General Directorate of Labour Welfare, a representative of the General Federation of Oman Workers, representatives of the company concerned, and representatives of citizens whose services were terminated, in order to find a consensual solution.

 The meetings with the company resulted in the return of all whose services were terminated to work during the coming period. The Ministry affirms its full commitment to following up on everything that would enhance the stability of all citizens working in the private sector.
