The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Samail Labour Department, made inspection visits to some private sector establishments operating in open areas in the wilayat to monitor the extent to which they implemented the decision to stop working hours on construction or open-air sites during the afternoon in the summer months (June, July, August).
The Ministry previously alerted business owners to the necessity of adhering to the “midday work stoppage policy” on construction sites and open areas with high temperatures during the next three months (June, July, and August) from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m."
