Manama: The second edition of the Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition, was launched in Manama. The opening ceremony of the 4-day event was held under the auspices of Jameel Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The exhibition is organized by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Sultanate of Oman and the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Manama. It showcases the products of 38 Bahraini and Omani exhibitors, including entrepreneurs, self-employed households and social security families.
The exhibits include famous luxury perfumes, Omani incense and frankincense, candles, confectionary items, food products, souvenirs, products of craft industries, pottery and heritage products that express interaction with the local environment in both brotherly countries.
Sayyid Faisal Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain, said that relations between the two countries are undergoing steady growth and rapprochement in all fields. He added that the Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition stems from a keenness to enhance cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain and consolidate bilateral relations.
For his part, Dr. Juma Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, said that the Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition reflects various aspects of cooperation between the two countries. He added that the event “aims to support and develop the entrepreneurial segment within the framework of the objectives of Bahrain Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Fatima Jaffar Al Sairafi, Bahrain’s Minister of Tourism, ambassadors of the two countries, and Rudayna Amer Al Hajri, President of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, officials of relevant ministries in both countries, dignitaries and representatives of the local press.
