Muscat: Minister of Labour, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Office, His Excellency the Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Employment Abroad of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Ministry of labour said: “His Excellency the Professor, the Minister of Labour, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Office the Excellency the Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Employment Abroad of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, His Excellency Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury."
"During the meeting, the existing areas of cooperation between the two countries related to work and human resources development were reviewed."
It is worth noting that, In a circular issued on October 31, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) suspended the issuance of visas across all categories for Bangladeshi nationals. Following that the Bangladeshi nationals' arrivals in Oman dropped by over 50%.
