Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, headed the 1st meeting of the observers committee of the Digital Cooperation Organization.
The meeting highlighted the initiatives offered by the organization to member states and observers.
The fields covered by these initiatives include foreign direct investment (FDI), partnerships between the public and private sectors, sustainability and innovation in offering government e-services and initiatives that are aimed at developing the digital economy system.
Oman was represented during the meeting, which is held within the framework of Comex 2024 activities, by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology.
