HM the Sultan’s visit to Jordan reflects strength of advanced relations: Foreign Minister

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister affirmed that His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s “state” visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and meeting with King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein underpins the advanced relations between the two countries.

The visit also embodies the strength of political, security and military relations between Oman and Jordan and reflects the two countries’ keenness to enhance cooperation and partnership in a bid to serve joint interests in areas of trade, economy and investment, Al Busaidi added.

Al Busaidi told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the talks between the two countries’ monarchs indicate the joint will and strong determination to work towards a future characterized by progress and prosperity.

He noted that the next session of the Jordanian-Omani Joint Higher Committee will be held in the Sultanate of Oman during the near future.
