Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Honourable President of the of Omani Promising Startups Programme, reviewed the progress of the joint workshop of the Supervisory Committee and the Technical Committee of the Omani Promising Startups Programme.
The workshop aimed to achieve integrity among the government entities in terms of the innovation-based Omani startups. The committees discussed during the workshop, a number of issues on the agenda, notably the analytical studies for the Omani startups system conducted by Startup Genome Firm and the outcomes of the study, which includes the proposed initiatives, were reviewed. The workshop also reviewed the heat map of the startups system prepared by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
A number of ministers, undersecretaries and members of the supervisory
committee and the technical committee of the programme, representatives of the government departments and the startups participated in the workshop.
