Oman, who had won a similar tournament in Egypt early this year, will be fielding two teams in the Morocco tournament, which will also see participation of two Egyptian teams, Sudan, Libya, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed Shambeh Al Raisi, chairman of the Oman Veteran Hockey, will accompany the 23-member Oman team as head of the delegation.
Abdulrehman Al Raisi (coach) and Mustafa Al Lawati (manager) will also be travelling with the team that will be captained by Yusuf Darwish.
WJ Towell has offered to sponsor the trip of the Oman Hockey Association-supported team.
