People urged to donate blood in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has urgently appealed to people with A(-ve) blood group to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

DBBS said: "The Department Blood Banks Services would like to point out that the Central Blood Bank in Baushar is experiencing a significant decrease in blood group A-, so we urge blood donors to donate as soon as possible."

"The donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar are from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For inquiries or to book an appointment to donate, please contact WhatsApp at 94555648," DBBS added.
