Royal Army of Oman’s cross-country competition concludes

Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) today organized the final rounds of its cross-country competition that saw the participation of 15 teams representing RAO’s brigades and other divisions. The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Maj. Gen. Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman.

At the outset of the ceremony, the RAO Commander listened to a briefing on the stages of the competition. Then, he gave the signal to start the competition. The contestants showed a high level of readiness and physical fitness. The RAO band presented musical performances that entertained the audience and triggered enthusiasm among the competitors.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest distributed cups, shields and prizes to top winners.

The event was attended by senior officers and other personnel of the Royal Army of Oman.
