Muscat: Classes in some evening schools in Dhofar Governorate will be shifted to distance learning on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 due to the weather condition that the Sultanate of Oman may witness.
Ministry of Education said in a statement :"Given that some wilayats of the governorate were affected by a depression in the air, according to indicators issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. Forecasts indicate the possibility of rain of varying intensity, and after the directorate’s assessment of the schools located within the scope of the impact and in order to ensure the safety of students and educational bodies, it was decided to shift distance learning to evening schools on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 according to the following:
1- Wahat Al-Hikma School for Basic Education (1-4) in the Wilayat of Al Mazyouna.
2-Omar Bin Abdulaziz School for Basic Education (5-8) in the Wilayat of Al Mazyouna.
3- Ibn Al-Dhahabi School for Basic Education (5-12) in the Wilayat Al Mazyouna
4- Khadrafi School for Basic Education (5-12) in the Wilayat of Dhalkot. "
