Muscat: An Indian salesman died in a road accident near Sur on Tuesday evening, said the victim’s friends.
“The accident occurred in Al Kamil near Sur at around 5pm. His car collided with a pickup van,” the victim’s friends told Times of Oman.
The victim has been identified as Abhilash Gopalan (30) from the south Indian state of Kerala.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
“His family was on a visit to Oman,” the friends added.
Last Sunday, two Indians had died in an accident which claimed three nationals’ lives, including of two police officers, in Al Khoud.
