Sheikh Khalifa holds meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State Derek Campbell

Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington held a reception on the sidelines of the second Omani-American Strategic Dialogue, which was chaired from the Omani side by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and from the American side US Deputy Secretary of State Derek Campbell . The ceremony was attended by a number of officials from both the countries.

On the sidelines of the second Omani-American Strategic Dialogue in Washington, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy held meetings with US Deputy Secretary of State Dirk Campbell and a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the White House.

Bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed, most notably the Palestinian issue, and the Omani position demanding an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, intensifying efforts to bring in humanitarian aid, and working to establish an independent Palestinian state.
