His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik leaves for the United Arab Emirates

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left here on Monday for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a two-day state visit, during which he will hold meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

The visit, made in response to an invitation by the UAE President, underscores the historical and fraternal relations binding Oman and the UAE.

His Majesty the Sultan was seen off at the Royal Airport by HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Shura Council, Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi, Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs, Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed Al Shibani, Minister of Education, Sheikh Al Fadlbin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Lt.Gen Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, Lt.
