Expats arrested for selling rotten meat in Oman

Muscat: A number of expats selling rotten meat were arrested yesterday in a raid carried out by the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in cooperation with the public prosecutor and the Royal Oman Police ROP.
The accused prepared the meat and also cook meals using the rotten meat to serve to consumers in restaurants. The accused were referred to the public prosecutor for further legal actions.
Muscat Municipality calls on citizens and nationals to contact the officials at Muscat Municipality Center through the number (1111) when encountering any violations.
