Oman Weather: Holiday declared in 5 governorates for public, private sector

Muscat: Tuesday (April 16) will be a holiday for the State’s civil administrative apparatus and for workers in private sector establishments across five governorates owing to the current weather conditions.

A holiday has been declared in the governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, A’Dhahirah, North Al Batinah and Al Dakhiliyah. For other regions, online work can be opted for if employees are unable to physically reach the office.

In other governorates, online work can be applied if it is not possible for employees to physically attend office, the Oman News Agency reported.
