All roads lead to North Al Sharqiyah during Eid holidays

Muscat: The wilayats of the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate witnessed an active tourist movement in the tourist and archaeological sites in the governorate, through the influx of local and international visitors to spend the holiday days of Eid Al Fitr. 

The Wilayat of Ibra witnessed a large turnout of visitors on the occasion of the trial opening of the zoo, as it includes public facilities and services, in addition to animals numbering more than 300 species, which contributes to revitalizing the tourism sector in the state and adds a qualitative advantage to it, in addition to tourist and heritage sites. 

In wilayat of Wadi Bani Khalid, the site of the water ponds in the Maqal tourist area witnessed a tourist movement from visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman to enjoy the water ponds, which are one of the tourist destinations in the governorate.

The Wilayat of Bidiya witnessed an active tourism movement through the variety of desert activities for which the state is famous, such as four-wheel drive and bicycle sports, in addition to the establishment of open markets in the center of the wilayat. 

The wilayats of Al Mudhaibi, Al Qabil, Dima, Al Taiyin and Sinaw witnessed the holding of events accompanying Eid, such as horse and camel racing shows, and traditional archery competitions, in addition to holding Omani arts singing programmes, in addition to holding Eid festivals in a number of public locations, and organizing entertainment competitions for children.
