38 Palestinians killed during last 24 hours in Gaza

GAZA: Israeli occupation forces committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulting in the documented killing of at least 38 Palestinians and the injury of 71 others, according to medical sources.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 33,175, with an additional 75,886 individuals sustaining injuries.

The majority of the victims are women and children.

Meanwhile, ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of and ambulance and civil defense teams.

Israeli occupation forces have conducted a series of arrests across the West Bank since yesterday evening, detaining at least 15 individuals, including two young women, in addition to a child and former prisoners.

In a joint statement, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Prisoners Affairs Authority stated that the arrests were carried out in various governorates of the West Bank, including Hebron, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jenin.

Among the detainees were the two young women Layan Nasser and Layan Kayed, both of whom are former prisoners in Israeli jails. The two were detained from their homes in Ramallah province.

The statement further detailed that the Israeli occupation forces continue to implement widespread raid and arrest campaigns accompanied by brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families, direct shooting with the intent to kill, as well as extensive destruction and sabotage of citizens’ homes.

The number of Palestinians arrested since October 7th has risen to approximately 8100, including those apprehended from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and hostages, the statement added.
