Parts of Oman witness rainfall

Muscat: Parts of the Hajar Mountains and the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates witnessed scattered rains today. 

The General Directorate of Meteorology said in today weather forecast: In General the weather is clear in Sultanate of Oman, with flow of high and medium clouds formation, and scattered rain expected on parts of the Hajar Mountains and the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.”

“There is chance of low clouds or fog forming late at night and in the early morning over the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar,” the statement added.

Dust storms due to active wind movement in desert and open areas may lead to low horizontal visibility.
