Muscat: An expat has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for committing several theft crimes from commercial stores in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
A statement issued online by ROP said:"The General Administration of Airport Security, in cooperation with the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command, arrested a person of Asian nationality for committing several theft crimes from commercial stores in the Wilayat of Bidiyah. The legal procedures were completed against him."
In another incident, the ROP arrested 11 foreigners for violating the residence laws in Al Buraimi Governorate.
ROP said in a statement that the Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command arrested 11 people of Asian nationality for violating the foreigners’ residence law. The legal procedures are completed against them.
