Update Know Your Customer (KYC) Details through Bank Muscat Mobile and Internet Banking

MUSCAT – In line with its vision “To Serve You Better, Everyday,” Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, continues to upgrade the banking services offered through Mobile and Internet banking to provide a seamless experience for customers. The Bank introduced updating “Know Your Customer (KYC)” details to help customers minimize their need to visit the branches.

KYC is an important process that enables the Bank to verify and maintain customers’ identity, information and documents at all times to serve them better, enhance their banking experience and avoid any delays in their transactions. Bank Muscat is committed to provide innovative services that are in-line with the latest technological developments and customers’ current and future needs.

The new feature enables customers to update their KYC details online by logging in to Mobile or Internet Banking and navigating through the app via < Requests / Customer Services < KYC < Update KYC and follow the on-screen instructions. After uploading the required documents, the details are instantly updated in the bank records and customers will receive a confirmation SMS and Email notification. Customers can also update their civil or resident ID details and passport details through this service.

Bank Muscat offers a wide range of online services, including Soft Token App for the approval of Internet Banking transactions, instant opening of Themaar Savings Plan, view access for minor accounts, payment to Pakistan and Bangladesh wallet, Speed transfer to Egypt, Friendi Mobile Top up, payment to government for Value added Tax (VAT), Excise Tax and Corporate income Tax, VAT statement for Corporate customers, Group Bill Payments which allows user to submit multiple Bill Payment transactions in single click, setting SMS Language instantly by Internet Banking & Mobile Banking, performing QR payment by doing a phone shake, MEDC electricity prepaid & post-paid payment, Muscat Finance and National Finance Loan Installment payment and payments to new educational institutes. In addition, customers can also apply for loan products and a variety of credit cards online and much more.
