Muscat - General Automotive Company (GAC), the authorized dealership for Mitsubishi Motors has added a limited edition ‘Special Action Model’ (SAM) variant to the widely popular Montero Sport SUV.
The luxurious, advanced Mitsubishi Montero Sport SAM carries forward the DNA of the legendary Pajero, not only in its outstanding off-road capabilities but also in its super-refined comfort, quietness and overall driving composure. Little wonder, why it is a favorite among Off-road enthusiasts and adventure-seekers.
“With the Special Action Model, customers can now get a more personalized look, with exclusive trims and genuine Mitsubishi accessories loaded on their Montero Sport.” said Aftab Ahmed Khan, Sales head of Mitsubishi Motors Oman.
While the most striking aspect is the two-tone exterior with black roof and roof rail, SAM also flaunts high-gloss black accents on the headlights cluster, front and rear bumpers and radiator grille, plus beefy 18-inch black alloy rims.
Aesthetics in the interior have received a boost with deep brown highlights on the center and side armrests, complemented by tasteful beige stitching.
“It’s not just the looks that have received an upgrade. SAM owners can expect exclusive value-additions in the cabin comfort too,” Aftab added, referring to the space-age material of the seats called Quole ModureTM, which is specially engineered to reflect the infrared spectrum of sunlight and keep the seats cooler than standard premium seat materials when parked outdoors.
There is also all-round interior protection of SRS airbags for driver and front passenger, besides side curtain airbags of 1st, 2nd and 3rd row passengers, and even an airbag for the driver’s knees.
The Montero Sport SAM is powered by the 3.0 Litre MIVEC engine mated to Mitsubishi’s first 8-speed automatic transmission, with multiple advanced 4WD modes – all of which are designed to deliver a smoother ride and improved fuel efficiency while sprinting on city streets, cruising on highways, or making your own path off-road.
The Montero Sport SAM is on display at GAC’s Mitsubishi showrooms in Muscat, Sohar, Nizwa and Salalah, and can be booked for delivery at any showroom in Oman.
