Muscat: The Deccani Wing of the Indian Social Club, which represents the large Hyderabadi community in Oman, organised their traditional community Iftar at Clock Tower, Ruwi on Friday, March 22.
The fasting Muslims gathered in a large number to break their fast. More than 4,000 people had gathered for Iftar in the evening.
The entire Clock Tower ground was full of people who sat together to break their fast. Many late comers were seen running towards the ground to join the congregation of fasting people.
The Iftar was followed by the Maghreb prayer. One of the organisers said they were preparing for the last seven day for the grand Iftar.
