Manah: Oman Across Ages Museum celebrated its first anniversary on March 13.
Since its opening in 2023 under the Royal patronage of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the museum has several achievements to boast of, which are a source of pride to the board of trustees and all the personnel of the museum.
Engineer Al Yaqzan bin Abdullah Al Harthi, Director General of Oman Across Ages Museum, said that on its first anniversary, we stress the support and care accorded to the museum, which represents a new addition to the cultural field in the Sultanate of Oman.
He said that coinciding with the first annual anniversary of the opening of the museum, entry to visitors was made free of charge on 13 March. The museum seeks to shed light on the deep-rooted history of Oman and its renaissance, he added.
He said that Oman Across Ages Museum received during its first year of inception over 450,000 visitors, including members of official delegations and government departments, private sector companies and establishments and school students.
He added that the museum saw organisation of several functions and events besides external participation and programmes in which 2,243 people participated.
