MUSCAT – Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, launched its Bank Muscat Shukran Visa Prepaid Card in partnership with Landmark Group and Visa. The card was developed to provide customers with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience by offering a variety of benefits, including discounts from partner stores and other rewards such as OMR 15 worth of gift vouchers, discounts on flights, hotels and cinema.

The Bank Muscat Shukran Visa Prepaid card is secure reloadable card intended for everyday use when shopping in stores and online. Bank Muscat is keen to expand its services and products to satisfy customers’ expectations by adopting innovation and tailoring benefits to fit their specific needs.

Earn Points on Every Purchase

Customers will earn 1 Shukran Point for every OMR 1 spent at Landmark Stores and 1 Shukran Point for every OMR 2 spent outside Landmark Group chain of stores. The total points accumulated through the prepaid card spends is added to the Shukran points gained from their Shukran membership. Points can be redeemed across Landmark Group stores in Oman, the GCC, Egypt and online on more than 15 brands across Fashion, Home, Electronics, Hospitality and Leisure, at Landmark Group stores such as Centrepoint, Babyshop, Splash, SHOEMART, Lifestyle, Max, Shoexpress, Home Centre, Home Box and Emax.  

Easy Application and Management

The Bank Muscat Mobile Banking app and Internet Banking services offers simple and convenient application and management of the prepaid card, customers can utilise the online services to top up the card, check available balance, view transaction history and block the card if it is lost or stolen. The prepaid card is linked to the cardholder’s Shukran membership, allowing them to earn and redeem Shukran points in stores and online. Customers who do not already have a Shukran membership will have it automatically generated during the card application.

In line with its vision “To Serve You Better, Everyday”, the Bank has launched recently its complimentary courier delivery service for prepaid cards. Customers no longer have to visit the branch to pick up the card.
