Expat arrested for possessing drugs in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an expat for possessing 17 kilograms of crystal drug and a quantity of psychotropic substances in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

ROP said in a statement :"The North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the General Administration for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances and with support from the Ibra Special Tasks Police Unit, arrested a person of Asian nationality in possession of more than 17 kilograms of crystal drug and a quantity of psychotropic substances. The legal procedures were completed against him."
