Oman's Foreign Ministry welcomes Security Council's resolution on Sudan

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the Security Council's resolution by a majority calling for the cessation of hostilities in the Republic of Sudan, and considers this move an important step towards achieving peace and stability in Sudan.

In a statement on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of dialogue as a means of ending conflict and strengthening national unity in Sudan to achieve peace and stability for the brotherly Sudanese people.
