Netherlands Embassy invites women from diverse fields to celebrate their achievements

Muscat: The Embassy of the Netherlands in Oman hosted a vibrant event on March 8 to celebrate the International Women’ Day.

The event, hosted by Netherlands Ambassador Stella Kloth, brought together women from diverse backgrounds and working fields to commemorate the achievements of women.

The event featured networking opportunities aimed at creating discussion and dialogue focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

In line with the theme of sustainability and environmental awareness, the Embassy also launched a project proposal challenge for women in the field of energy, design, and climate change.

Through the competition, the Embassy seeks to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and innovators, providing a platform for their ideas to flourish and contribute to local and international markets.

The proposals will be assessed by a professional panel of judges. The winning pilot project will get the opportunity to be showcased in the Netherlands during a visitor’s programme supported by the Embassy. A remarkable opportunity not be missed.
