Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), concluded its participation as an official partner in the activities of the Bursa Berlin International Tourism Exhibition, in its 24th session under the title “Discover Oman”.
A number of agreements were signed aimed at attracting more tourists to the Sultanate.
His Excellency Sayyed Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at the Berlin International Tourism Exhibition in its 24th session.
His Excellency was briefed on what Oman’s pavilion at the exhibition is doing in introducing the tourism potential of the governorates of the Sultanate and the natural and biological diversity it abounds in, in addition to various sporting activities, traditional arts and crafts, and the authentic traditions of Omani civilisation.
His Excellency also reviewed the investment opportunities offered in the tourism sector, which reflects the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment and openness to various investments and partnerships in this vital cultural, economic and humanitarian sector.
