Boeing executives recently visited the Modern College of Business & Science to establish a stronger relationship between the industry and academia. The senior executives, Kuljit Ghata-Aura, the President of Boeing Middle East, Turkey, Africa & Central Asia (METACA), and Brian Long, Managing Director of the MENA region, were warmly welcomed by the college during their visit.
The visit aimed to initiate a new partnership between the college and the Boeing company. The executives met with the college's Executive Chairman, Dr. Muneer Al Maskari, and Deputy Executive Chairperson, Ms. Aisha Al-Kharusi, along with several other MCBS leadership team members and students.
"We are proud to be the only higher education institution in Oman that offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management and Airport Management. By welcoming the visiting executives to our campus, we highlight the importance of collaboration between academia and industry," said Dr. Moosa Al Kindi, the Dean of MCBS.
Dr. Al Kindi added, "We want our graduates to benefit from the collaboration between industry and academia and to be well-equipped to thrive in their careers, adaptable, curious, and lifelong learners."
