Person arrested in hit-and-run case, one dead

Muscat: Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a person for his role in an accident where he ran over a citizen in the Wilayat of Seeb and fled the scene.

The victim died due to his injuries and the police arrested the driver, a person of Asian nationality, for fleeing and hiding his vehicle post the accident, a statement by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said. "Legal procedures are being completed against him."
