Muscat: Several Wilayats recorded moderate to heavy rainfall, leading to overflowing wadis and reefs.
Wilayats of Al Khaboura, Saham, Al Suwaiq, Sohar, and Barka recorded rainfall on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the amount of rainfall recorded between 28 and 29 February 2024 (until 5 pm) reached the highest of 134 mm in the wilayat of Barka, followed by Ibri at 75 mm, Al Khaboura at 70 mm, Yanqul at 64 mm, Al Musanah at 52 mm and Sohar at 44 mm.
