Muscat: An official session of talks was held in Muscat today between the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education.
The Omani side was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, while the Mauritanian side was chaired by Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education.
During the session, the two sides stressed the advanced relations between the two countries and the level of coordination and integration in areas of endowments and religious affairs. They also discussed topics related to means of promoting cooperation in religious fields and benefiting from the experiences in endowments sector.
A presentation was given during the session on the strategy of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Oman and the Ministry’s experiences in digital transformation, endowments and funds, rebuilding mosques and Holy Quran schools, preaching and guidance, planning and studies.
