Dust storms forecast over parts of Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has warned people in Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah Governorates, especially the Ibri-Hafeet road, of dust storms due to the depression that may affect the Sultanate of Oman during the period between February 25-27, 2024.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology said: "Due to the Sultanate of Oman witnessing an atmospheric depression during the period from 25-27 February, the Ministry warns road users in Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah Governorates, especially the Ibri-Hafeet road, of the need to take caution and be careful of flying dust and sand."
