Muscat: The Bali provincial government will impose a tax of 150,000 Indonesian rupiahs (equivalent to 10 US dollars) on foreign tourists, said the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta.
The embassy said in a statement :"The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta would like to inform Omani citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Indonesia that the Bali Provincial Government will impose a tax on foreign tourists in the amount of 150,000 Indonesian rupiahs, equivalent to 10 US dollars. "
" The following categories will be exempt from tax:
1. Holders of diplomatic and official visas.
2. Transport vehicle crew members.
3. Holders of a temporary residence card (KITAS), or a permanent residence card (KITAP).
4. Family Reunification visa holders.
5. Study visa holders.
6. Golden visa holders, " the statement added.
