Vilnius: President Gitanas Nauseda of the Republic of Lithuania received on Tuesday Badr bin Mohammed Al Mantheri, the Sultanate’s ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for presenting his credentials as the Sultanate’s extraordinary, plenipotentiary and non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings and wishes of good health and happiness of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the president and for his country’s people for further progress and prosperity.
The ambassador expressed the keenness of Sultanate’s government for boosting the distinct bilateral relations between the two countries and development of the same to the utmost level of cooperation in all spheres, mainly in the fields of commerce and investment and the technology, green energy and logistics sector for the joint interest of the two countries.
In his turn, the president asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty the Sultan.
The president also called for upgrading the level of commercial, investment and logistics cooperation between the two countries.
