Traffic cut off in wilayats of Saham and Sohar, alerts NCEM

Muscat: Traffic has been cut off between the Wilayats of Saham and Sohar and on secondary roads in the Wilayat of Shinas due to the heavy rainfall, said the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM).

 Heavy rainfall has resulted in overflow of Wadi Al-Mahmoum in the Wilayat of Saham and Wadi Sur Al Abri in the Wilayat of Shinas, North Al Batinah Governorate.

"The flow of Wadi Al-Mahmoum in the Wilayat of Saham and the interruption of traffic between the Wilayats of Saham and Sohar. The flow of the  Wadi Sur Al Abri in the Wilayat of Shinas, cutting off traffic on secondary roads. Please be careful," National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM), said in a statement.
