Over 17,000 visitors flock to Al Buraimi winter event

Muscat: More than 17,000 visitors have visited the Al Buraimi winter event in the Wilayat of Madha, Al Buraimi Governorate.

Statistics issued by the Al Buraimi Governor’s Office showed that the number of visitors to the Al Buraimi Winter Event in its second stop in the Wilayat of Mahdha reached more than 17,000 visitors in four days.

Salem bin Namshan Al Kaabi, Director of the Events and Awareness Department at the Al Buraimi Governor’s Office, said that after the success of the Al Buraimi Winter Event in its first stop in the Al Buraimi Public Park, Al Kahf Park in the Wilayat of Mahdha witnessed a wide turnout from various segments of society. It included several heritage and entertainment activities to highlight the great diversity characterising the governorate.

Al Kaabi stated that the Al Buraimi winter event in its second stop in the Wilayat of Mahdha included a group of entertainment and cultural activities and events, cartoon character shows, theatre events, community shows, and several corners for small and medium enterprises, restaurants, productive families, and other events, competitions, and accompanying activities.

He confirmed that the Al Buraimi winter event, in its third leg, will start on the 22nd of this month in the Wilayat of Sunaynah. In addition, many events were approved by the Al Buraimi Governor’s Office to be organised successively during the winter period, according to an approved time plan.
