Oman's weather expected to be affected by air depression

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman may be affected by an air depression next week for four days from Sunday, until Wednesday, February 11-14, 2024, Oman Meteorology said.

The Meteorology said in a statement :"The latest weather maps and numerical forecasts indicate the chances that the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a depression starting from the beginning of next week, Sunday, until Wednesday, February 11-14, 2024, with chances of the northern governorates and parts of the Al Wusta Governorate to be affected by rains of varying intensity that may lead to the flow of valleys and reefs."

Specialists at the National Multiple Hazards Early Warning Centre are following the upcoming weather situation and its developments.  The Centre calls on citizens and residents to follow the bulletins and reports issued.
