Muscat: In conjunction with the visit of Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait to the Sultanate of Oman, parking of vehicles will be prohibited on both sides of Sultan Qaboos Road, Sai Road, Sultan Said Bin Taimur Road, and the tourist road in the Wilayat of Duqm, Al Wusta Governorate on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement :"The Royal Oman Police - Security Relations and Media Department - announces that it is prohibited to park vehicles on both sides of Sultan Qaboos Road, Sai Road, Sultan Said Bin Taimur Road, and the tourist road in the Wilayat of Duqm in the Al Wusta Governorate, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 7, 2024."
" The Royal Oman Police therefore calls on vehicle drivers to abide by the above and cooperate with police officers for public interest, " the statement added.
His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, will pay a “state” visit to the Sultanate of Oman today, February 6, 2024. During which His Highness the Emir , along with His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik , will attend the opening of the Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries on Wednesday, February 7,2024.
