School students begin second semester of academic year

Muscat: School students and educational institutions in various directorates of the Sultanate of Oman will begin their second semester on Sunday for the current academic year 2023/2024, after the mid-year vacation.

The second semester of the current academic year will continue till July 11, 2024. The exam period has been set for the end of this semester, and the second session is for students in grades (5-11) in public and private schools that apply the government evaluation system and exams.

During this current semester, 13 school buildings will be opened, and these buildings are concentrated in the governorates of Muscat, Dhofar, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, and South Al Sharqiyah.
