Foreign Minister makes a phone call to Syrian counterpart

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister made a phone call to Dr. Faisal Al Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syriaon Saturday.

During the telephonic conversation, Sayyid Badr expressed Oman’s solidarity with Syria for its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, with reference to the American attacks in Syria.

The two ministers stressed the importance of holding serious dialogue with all parties and preventing the escalation of conflict in the region. They also underlined the withdrawal of foreign forces from the Syrian territories and giving priority to resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict and putting an end to the Israeli occupation in all Palestinian and Arab occupied lands for just, permanent and comprehensive peace in the region.
