Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, on Wednesday received Lord David Cameron, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK).

The two sides agreed on the need to continue efforts to contain conflicts so that they would not expand regionally.

The meeting dealt with means of developing projects of joint cooperation in all fields. The two sides called for convening the next meeting of the Omani-British working group in Muscat as soon as possible.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Liane Saunders, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from both sides.
