Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman may be affected by an air depression for three days starting Thursday, February 1, 2024, said Oman Meteorology.
Oman Meteorology said in a statement :"It is possible that the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a depression of an air depression, starting from Thursday until Saturday, as clouds are expected to form and flow over the Governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi. Scattered rains of varying intensity and opportunities for the flow of reefs and valleys are expected. "
The Meteorology added that opportunities also extend for the formation and flow of clouds and scattered rainfall over parts of the Hajar Mountains and the coasts of the Sea of Oman.
Sea waves will rise on the coasts of Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman, reaching a maximum height of medium to rough waves (two and a half metres) starting on Friday, coinciding with active northwesterly winds.
