Muscat: Oman Artificial Intelligence Summit 2024 kicked off today. The two-day event is organised by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Dr. Kamil Fahd Al Said, Secretary General at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers. It is attended by over 200 specialists in the fields of AI and advanced technologies from all over the world, in addition to 40 speakers.
Further, the summit aims to ease the procedures of investing and establishing foreign companies and encouraging investment in the AI sphere. It also targets supporting innovation.
The event discusses three main topics, particularly “AI and Governments”, “AI and the Work Environment” and “AI and the Economy”.
Moreover, an exhibition is held on the sidelines of the summit in which experts and engineers in the AI field showcase the latest technologies and solutions.
