One dead, one injured as fire rips through house in South Al Batinah

Muscat: One person died and another was moderately injured as a result of a fire that broke out in a house in the Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate, said the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).

CDAA said in a statement: "The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the South Al Batinah Governorate responded to a fire incident in a house in the Wilayat of Barka , which resulted in the death of one person and moderate injury of another. He was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment."
